Huxley Skincare Review
I had gotten my hands on some Huxley skincare early May and had tried them out over three weeks. This is how I feel about them. The products I picked up were the ( Secret of Sahara Cream: Glow Awakening & Secret of Sahara Oil: Light and More).
Let me start with the cream, it has a great texture being thick but light. It is a white cream that blends onto the skin beautifully and the scent is a nice subtle floral smell of lilac, rose, and much more. The cream has ingredients like: prickly pear seed oil, Niacinamide, Odeetox, Glutathione, Bisabolol, & SC-Glucan. My only downside is that as a dry skin individual, this cream is a bit on the dryer side. I like creams that make my skin feel extra hydrated and coated but this starts out creamy and dries down. That can be a plus or a minus depending on your preference. Below this post is an in depth description of what the ingredients entail.
The Secret of Sahara Oil: Light and More, is a face oil that you can use on its own or mix with the cream. They recommend 2-4 drops but on my face, which is small, took 4-6 drops to completely cover. I use this oil to massage my face with my lifting facial technique. My opinions on this oil is very mixed. I like it for the message purpose but as a hydrating oil I feel very indifferent about it. This oil is a wet to dry formula which I find amazing however on my dry skin it had broken me out and did not hydrate enough. If this oil is too close the eyes it will fall into them and burn. So I definitely recommend avoiding the eyes. The scent is also very overwhelming. It is overly floral and strong, so if you have a sensitivity to smell it may bother you. The scent consist of: Jasmin, rose, lily, cyclamen, gardenia, linden blossom, powder, musk, and sea breeze. The oil’s top ingredient is prickly pear seed oil.
Ingredient detail:

It reduces the appearance of fine lines, helps prevent premature wrinkle formation, brightens dark under-eye circles, calms redness, helps relieve sunburn, and brightens and evens complexion. The vitamin E found in prickly pear seed oil is the highest of any plant oil on the market.

Bisabolol: Is known to soothe inflammation. Having proven anti-inflammatory properties, bisabolol declares war on acne, rashes, rosacea, psoriasis, and similar conditions associated with frequent skin irritations. It has also been shown that bisabolol calms the skin after exposure to UV rays, and tones down sunburns and redness.
SC-Glucan: Is known to promote the synthesis of collagen, improve the elasticity of the skin, enhance repairment from UV damage, and it's anti-allergic and anti-inflammation.
